Information we handle
We handle organiser account details, event settings, optional guest names, uploaded photos and videos, written messages, purchase records and technical information needed to secure the service.
Why we use it
We use this information to operate accounts and private events, accept contributions, prepare previews and downloads, process purchases, respond to requests and prevent misuse. We do not use your event contributions for advertising.
Who can see your event
Event access is controlled through protected guest links and organiser settings. Organisers and moderators can manage contributions. Share guest links only with people you intend to invite; people with access may save content they can view.
Service providers
The current service uses Clerk for authentication, MongoDB for application records, Cloudflare R2 for media storage, Trigger.dev for background processing and Dodo Payments for hosted checkout. Payment card entry happens on the payment provider’s page, not in our event forms.
Checkout location
At checkout, we share your account name and email with Dodo Payments. With your separate permission in Cookie settings, we also send Vercel’s estimated country and postal code to open payment entry directly when possible. Estimates can be inaccurate and affect tax calculation. If you decline, or the estimate is unavailable or rejected, checkout asks for the required details. We do not request GPS access or store raw IP addresses for this feature.
Keeping and removing information
Media retention follows your event’s plan. The current plans provide 14, 30 or 60 days of storage after closure. Download your memories before that period ends. Payment, security and support records may need different retention periods; final business-specific periods will be confirmed before launch.
Your choices
You can choose whether to provide a guest name, manage browser preferences through Cookie settings and ask us about access, correction or deletion of your information. Available rights depend on the law that applies to you.
International processing
Service providers may process information in different countries. The operator’s details, applicable legal bases and transfer safeguards must be confirmed in the final policy before public launch.
